The DSLRA is taking action, thanks for bringing this up. More info at
http://www.urbanstl.com/viewtopic.php?t=5072I don't care what music a club plays. I don't care what clothes their clientele wears. But when a business starts attracting clientele that terrorizes a neighborhood with gunshots, attempted muggings, and other nuisances -- that's where we draw the line.
So here's how this game will work. I have too many friends that live downtown. Many of you have friends downtown as well. Our lives and the lives of our friends and loved ones are precious. Many times, you give people and businesses a second chance. But no, not with human life.
Therefore, I ask that we all place much scrutiny on Lucky's at Tucker and Washington in the time to come. Keep in mind, the owners of Lucky's also own Dolce. Perhaps their business should be boycotted and protested until they start respecting the neighborhood. Something tells me these owners would not appreciate this kind of behavior around their loved ones in their neighborhood.
