Downtown St. Louis Residents Association

Hello Residents of Downtown,

Are you sick of the canine litter in downtown? Are you a dog owner who would never dream of leaving your dog's litter behind?

Would you like to assist in making it socially and culturally unacceptable to leave canine litter in our beautiful neighborhood?

We need community involvement in some very simple tasks. We would like to create a "campaign" to increase awareness and create social pressure toward those who have been irresponsible about cleaning up after their dogs.

Help us create a slogan, distribute posters and flyers, install bag dispensers, and any other ideas you may have.

You, the residents of downtown, have told us this is a problem. We need your help in solving it.

I am looking for a couple more volunteers and then I will send out an email to everyone introducing each other. I will also then explaining where we are in the process of our campaign. We can do most of our discussion through email. We hope to start implementing everything in the spring. Thanks so much for your help!!

maybe the DSLRA & Columbus Square neighborhood can join forced and create dog park? There is a great, semi private park on 10th & O'Fallon (Filipiac Park) that CoSq Improvement Committee is working on now....might be a great spot for a community, low cost dog park....
